From June 15 to 18, the “AI for the Future of Teaching, Research and Personalized Learning” Academic Exchange Program, jointly organized by Beijing Normal University (BNU) and the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), Thailand, concluded successfully in Bangkok, Thailand. Marking a milestone in translating the outcomes of scientific research collaboration between the two institutions into practical applications, the program was coordinated by the Smart Learning Institute of Beijing Normal University and the National Engineering Research Center for Educational Technology and Applications.
At the invitation of Malaysia Han Culture Center, Beijing Normal University (BNU) hosted a thematic workshop from November 9 to 14, 2025, titled “Workshop on Educational Planning and Governance in the Intelligent Era: Insights from Malaysia.” The event was attended by numerous officials from Ministry of Education, Malaysia, various state education departments, and K-12 schools.
From 8-12 September 2025, education leaders, policymakers, and experts from across SoutheastAsia gathered in Bangkok for the Workshop on Educational Planning and Governance in the IntelligenceEra: A Southeast Asian Perspective, organised by SEAMEO STEM-ED, in partnership with BeijingNormal University, with technical support from UNESCO Regional Office in Bangkok.
To thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and the National Education Conference, accelerate the digital transformation of education, and effectively enhance capabilities in digital education planning and governance, the "International Seminar on Educational Planning and Governance in the Intelligent Era" was launched in Beijing on January 14, 2025.
